Emily and Sean will have a romantic date together in Curacao during Monday night’s episode of ABC’s “The Bachelorette 2012.” It’s time for the fantasy dates, and in seasons past these usually included a private, overnight portion where the lead and the final three could spend some quality time together without the cameras. It has been said previously that the guys won’t be spending the night with Emily Maynard this season, but just how do things break down for these dates in Monday night’s episode?

TV Grapevine posted a new extended preview Friday that details a bit of Sean Lowe’s date with Emily Maynard. The new portion detailing “The Bachelorette” spoilers for Sean and Emily’s date can be seen below, just after Jef and Emily’s segment. Sean asks Emily if his family brought up anything she wants to know more about, and they talk about Sean’s past relationships. He admits that he often treated his former girlfriends like buddies, and he specifically talks about his relationship with Brooke Sorenson, a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.

Sean and Brooke dated for about three years, and Sean tells Emily that while he loved her and thought she was special, there came a time when he knew he wouldn’t be with her forever. He shares that he realized he wasn’t “in love” with her, but she brought up the idea of marriage frequently. The fact that Sean didn’t see them headed in that direction, he admits, led to some big fights.

Will the way Sean handled this former relationship cause worries and doubts for Emily? The sleuthers at the Bach and Bachette fan forums have closely analyzed the screencaps available for Sean and Emily in Curacao, and there is a lot to take in for this week. It seems that the two spend a very full day together, and do spend some time swimming at the location of their fantasy suite. However, it is believed that Emily Maynard doesn’t give any of her final three guys the opportunity to stay overnight with her.

Though much of the season “The Bachelorette” spoilers led people to believe that Sean Lowe made it to the final two this season, new spoilers out this week via Love_Me at the Bach and Bachette fan forums indicate that ultimately Sean will be let go Monday night. It seems that there is something unusual about this choice, but viewers may never see it play out on-screen.

Does Emily cut Sean in a black-and-white rose ceremony decision? Does he come back at some point to try to win her over again? Nobody is absolutely certain about those details, so viewers will have to tune in Monday to see what happens. ABC’s “The Bachelorette 2012″ airs the fantasy date episode on Monday, July 9.

I think she is an idiot! She really missed the boat by dumping Sean! I hope he is the next bachelor. He deserves to be treated like the wonderful man that he is! They are few and far between!

    • That was such a tough one to watch – I have liked him all season, but thought things were a bit stiff between them at times. Tonight though, wow, he really opened up and I was so sad for him! I am very anxious to see who will be the next bachelor – I have no doubt at all that Sean will find a great girl soon if he’s open to it! He’s definitely a great catch!
